Overview
You drive to Arba Minch, on the way visiting the stele of Tiya. Early in the morning you will have a boat trip on Lake Chamo where you have the opportunity to see the great Nile crocodiles and hippos. In the afternoon, you visit the Dorze village with its unique handcraft and house structure. Next, you drive to Yabello, visiting the Konso people and their terraced village, followed by an excursion to Elsod Crater Lake and Dublock, the Borena singing well where salt extraction is conducted by local people. You then drive to the growing city of Hawassa, visiting the stele field of Tutu Fella en route. Finally, after visiting the Hawassa fish market, you drive back to Addis across the Rift Valley and Abijata-Shalla National Park, with a farewell dinner featuring Ethiopian folkloric dances and traditional meals.

Drive from Addis Ababa to Arba Minch. En route you visit Tiya (World Heritage Site registered by UNESCO), famous for its ancient monolithic stele engraved with fascinating symbols.
