A morning flight will take you to Diredawa-commercial city neighboring Harar. You will then visit the walled city of Harar and its gates, museums, Rimbaud House and the market place where you will find the Oromo, Ethiopian Somali and Harari people. In the evening you will also visit the famous Hyena man performance ( A human being feeding Hyenas by his hand and mouth ) A short visit of Diredawa city including its market places will also be an addition before you fly back to Addis Ababa.

Remark

At about 70 KMS from Harar there is a place where the Ethiopia Orthodox church holds an outstanding ceremony twice a year (In July and December). It is recommended to include this visit with one extra day if your plan to visit Ethiopia lies on those days.

If you have an additional resource and time, you may also drive back instead of flying .First you drive to Awash where you will visit the Awash falls, the hot spring area, bird life in the park and some animals. In addition, as you continue to Addis Ababa you will have a stop over at Debrezeit to enjoy Lake Hora and Bishoftu. You need two more days to include this particular part of the trip.
